QUICK GUIDELINES

OPTIONS

• Artwork can have a white basecoat or be printed directly on aluminum for a metallic look. Use different opacity of white behind elements of your artwork to achieve a metallic effect.

• Artwork can be printed in Gloss, Matte, or Select Gloss.

• Specify gloss elements in a separate layer

WARP ZONE

• Where the can neck begins is considered the warp zone

• Anything in the warp zone will distort

• Avoid any intricate designs or small details in the warp zone

FONTS AND IMAGES

• Embed all images and outline fonts before saving

COLOUR MODE

• Artwork must be saved in CMYK

FILE TYPE

• Preference for Adobe Illustrator (AI) files or Editable PDF

• Ensure that the file preserves editing capabilities in case small tweaks may be needed to artwork

LASTLY

• UPC orientation up to designer discretion (3.5cm x 2.5cm recommended)

• To ensure quality assurance, every can produced by CanvasCraft must feature our logo and production code, prominently displayed near the UPC code as shown below. Size is for demonstration purposes only.
